There’s a couple of things that come to mind

I have heard of a few sisu engines use oil .
Unfortunately no it’s on top of the majority of its work although it does get a good blow out sometimes I put it on a dyno for a hour the other day to give it a work out to see if it would helpIs she getting "worked"proper or is she on top of the jobs with ease
The New Holland T6 where I used to work always used to burn oil until it was only about 1/3 the way up from the minimum. But it would sit there happily and not go lower. It gets filled at services and burns it off to about a 1/3 and stay there until the next service. Some ppl panic when oil is not exactly on full mark of dipstick, personally I'd run it hard keep an eye on the stick but don't add any oil and see whether it continues to lower the sump or level out at some point. Those engines have a very good track record so I'd not be to alarmed yet. Some engines seem to have a sweet spot where oil levels are. Also most manufacturers don't recommend adding until oil is at or below add mark fwiw
I’ve ran it to see if it levels out but it will just keep dropping I’ve taken it to the minimum mark before topping upSome ppl panic when oil is not exactly on full mark of dipstick, personally I'd run it hard keep an eye on the stick but don't add any oil and see whether it continues to lower the sump or level out at some point. We had trouble with engines burning oil years ago we were using a well known brand then found out off a haulage friend that he had the same trouble. Turned out to be poor recycled oil. We changed to Shell and after a couple of changes it settled down. We used some Hunting after that as the shell was dear now we are on Morris oils. What oil are you using? Which brand?
