Got a nearly 6 year old dmax. Bought me and Been absolutely faultless. Never had a spanner on it.
It's now done 140k miles of hard work (which I actually think has done it good, better than one that's not been worked anyway) so thinking it's time for a refresh.
A year ago we bought an iveco...
Our truck due it's 1st service at 12500 miles. Can anyone say or pm me what they have paid for this service? I asked a while ago the main dealer we purchased truck from and it seemed very steep.
Can't remember exactly how much though. But it was a lot lot more than our same age l200.
Many thanks
My Navara is due for a change in the next 6-12 months, spoke to Nissan today, they (obviously) told me to pull my finger out because Nissan were stopping making the Navara and the last ones would be coming into the country in December. If I were to order today expect the new one to turn up in...
Pick up canopy
Made by Rhayader
Was for a D40 navara but I made brackets and used it on a 2015 dmax double cab. Comes with these brackets for fitting on top of a load liner.
Decent order with a few dings
Collection only £150
Been looking at Landcruisers to replace a TD5 Disco who’s chassis is having to be welded up again. Swayed towards a 100 series 4.2 diesel owing to its higher 3.5 ton towing capacity, are these a good buy and is there anything to be careful of, mindful these are now approaching 20 years old?
After a canopy for a 2017 dmax. Would consider ifor style or fibreglass, must have a watertight lockable back door though, if fibreglass silver aswell. Or a mountain top cover!
Am I missing something? I’ve specced a Defender commercial S with the stuff you really want in a car, and to match the spec of a Wildtrack Ranger. Tow bar, metallic paint, mudflaps, 3 seats in the front, alloy wheels. And that’s about it, not gone too mad with it. It’s come out at £62,000+VAT...
Sorry this is another pickup thread!
Being unwilling to replace my Navara with another due to really poor service and back up from both the Nissan dealers I have tried added to the fact that they will soon not be available I am looking at alternatives.
Went and looked at the new Isuzu and drove...
Just wondering if I should swap my defender 90 for a better towing truck the 90 is wobbly when towing cattle trailer was thinking maybe buy a defender 110 utility or go for a pickup maybe Toyota or Mitsubishi any advice
I have BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tyres which are ok. The problem is that when they get down to about 3mm of tread they seem to wear unevenly around the true, alternate lugs wearing faster than the lug next to it most peculiar. So I was thinking of trying a comparable make of tyre, suggestions...
Anybody that read a previous thread about a vehicle quandary I have, have a view on the future values of Amarok’s now they’ve been discontinued. Anything on forecourts are now big money upto £70,000 inc vat for 20 plates ex demonstrators.
I’ve found one on a 20 plate with 8,000 miles for...
So I presently run a Amarok doing 15,000 miles a year. It’s leased and going in June this year. It ticks all the boxes for me as it’ll travel across fields, tow a trailer, carry stuff in the pickup bed, takes the kids to and from school and is also happy travelling to the coast on holiday.
I’ve...
Hey all,
I hope you don't mind indulging this non-farmer but I'm very curious about the typical size and power of tractors - plus the size of implements - you use vs. the size of fields/farm that you're working on? I've been reading through a lot of machinery threads and trying to collate the...
What are peoples' views?
Specific thread please on the auto box for towing loaded livestock trailer. Think they are only 5 speed, are they up to the job with only 5 cogs.
Feel free to compare with auto version of dmax or hilux.
The 2009 defender 90 hardtop has been good, but time to upgrade...
I know, I know! Almost as strongly debated as Forager's v's Wagons...
Im thinking of a new pick up, but as I don't have much experience with them, I thought I'd ask the collective! :)
Shopping List
I cant justify a proper double cab really, but one of those extra cab versions would suit, I...
Had my Discovery 3 for 6 years now and it's fair racked up some spending on it in that time, with a few more costs already 'in the post' that I know of (Torque converter and potentially g/box)
Trouble is, it's sooo bloody good when it works... I'd love a D4 but don't really want to go through...
Would it be very easy to wire up a microphone to an amplifier/ loudspeaker in the front of ones pickup/ tractor , so one can ask cyclists who insist on riding double breasted along country lanes , “to
please pull over”.
