    Keeping ram with week old lambs

    So I lambed inside this year a small amount and once lambs were a few days to a week old I've put them in the same field as 1 ram. So far he has completely ignored them and everything has been fine. Just wanted to know other people's thoughts/ experiences. Thanks

    Feed blocks

    Thinking of using feed blocks to feed ewes with lambs on turn out usually feed concentrates for month after lambing but land is so wet has anyone done this will ewes still milk ok they will be on good grass.

    Dosing calves for coccidiosis?

    Has anyone mixed the dose for coccidiosis in with the milk when feeding bucket reared calves or will I just go to the trouble of dosing them and be lazy!! It for prevention as had some trouble last year

    Joint Ill - Lambs

    Anyone seeing more joint ill than normal? I always get a hand full but treating about a dozen at the moment. Lamb outside and these are approx 10 to 15 days old. Weather been crap like everywhere so prob the cause. Treating with a big hit of Trimox LA and metacam.
