Had to drive a friends round baler today. Not a job I do very often.
Why does to left/right arrows want me to drive right of the row more often and even after bale ejected and empty, want me to steer right ?
Following a twin rake.
Is there a calibration?

Let’s start a harvest 23 thread! So how far do we all think we are from starting? Winter barley rapidly ripening here early start is on the cards. First week of july maybe, rape just starting to lose its greenness also!
Hi,
I have just purchased a Mchale Fusion 1 from a neighbour who has owned it for a number of years with no issues. He was running it on a T6-180. I am also running it on a T6-180 which I had to convert to power beyond. I have converted identical to the other tractor T'd in to loader. The baler...

Looking for collective advice. We have an older of the above here which works well.
Have it on an older dB, as all ours are, so I assume classed as open centre?
Means when not working wrapper the hydraulics are stop ended in effect and constant pumping.... Not good.
Is there an simple...
Yes I know, how long is a piece of string.
Just looking an approximation or even approximate range, hay very dry, bit of stem but soft and leafy, fixed chamber baler, Fusion or similar.
Thanks.
Just getting fusion out for the season and the screen has a lot of horizontal lines missing so I would think impossible to use. Any idea of the problem before I get the dealer involved tomorrow ?
Hi, had a problem with our Mchale trailed wrapper today. Its a standard 2018 joystick bjs and was working perfectly all day until the table rotation suddenly became slow and would not come to a proper stop when the joystick is released. Visually checked the flow to the motor and it stops and...
I have a conor trailed bale wrapper on loan with a view to buy. It's one that has been parked up due to 'issues' and replaced by another. I dragged it out of the nettles and after a bit of fiddling managed to get the functions working of sorts on the control box. Now I've got it home, the bale...
I know it's very early still, but looks like my neighbour is making a bit of hay on a small field that he lets people camp on.
Couple of others seem to be underway with haylage.
I've just been and mowed 8 acres that is going to be haylage for a chap this evening.
It will be at least 10...
I was very sadly informed in a telephone call a couple of weeks ago that @Andrew had passed away after being involved in an accident
I’ve seen nothing in the press or any other threads about this and was respectfully waiting for more news but felt as such a valued and helpful member of the TFF...

Bought a 2nd hand high speed mchale , my son broke a shear pin in the drive to the belts which we replaced but he has now come back with a snapped chain. spoke with the dealer who said slow the oil flow down. I had the oil set to turn the table at 30 rpm because I thought this was what the book...
Hi Guys,
We are considering changing our Mchale 991BJS wrapper for an inline wrapper. Anyone have experience with either the Mchale or Tanco wrappers?
Personally my self I would be more inclined to stick with Mchale as our baler is a f5500 and current wrapper is also Mchale.
However, Local...
