I'm planning on drilling some catch crops after OSR and Winter Oats this year, but am wondering how to best get them established? I'm worried about volunteer OSR out competing the catch crop, so would it be best to wait for a chit of Rape volunteers, then either spray them off or take them out...

My main problem is the blackgrass is getting out of hand, I don't think my...
Does such thing exists? I know all farms and soils are different but the 10 top critical points would be very helpful for many people.
Where I’m struggling is that we’re a small mixed farm and getting straw off in a wet year always makes a mess (turning, baling, stacking and then loading) and...

All mucked and ploughed but too wet to do anything with really at the moment. Not going to maul it in, better to wait 10days I think with more rain forecast.
Got some photos of a 2005 Horsch sprinter ST drill i was interested in but it seems to be on the CO style twin vertical springs and not the larger single horizontal springs.
Is there a year that they changed to the new horizontal spring or were the drills optionally with either style tine

I believe they have power disc coulters, are these any good for dd and moved ground light and heavy?
Looks like a good set up, wonder how well it would work in the wet.
They are a similar set up to a trailed one minus the front discs?
Evening
