50% more than nothing is still nothingOnly for the good stuff apparently, they don't want any of the coarser stuff at all.
I think I would still take it to BWMB as you have a better chance of getting more if the price does go up. Wool has been known to alter in price by more than 50% in a year!!
Yes white mule and texel wool and 5p kilo for coloured wool and swale only thing that is higher in price is lester woolIs that for mules? Do they supply sheets

How much more can you smuggle in as yours at that price @hubbahubba ??hope to pay same as last year (65p iirc) before the winter....
I'm gonna keep it for now but i doubt my 8 sheets of oddments will collapse the world wool market, although it'll be 16 sheets next so you never know! Are many folk keeping wool hoping for a price rise? Ive mine done and texacloth will take it, sort and pack it etc. Although they wont pay for it just now but hope to pay same as last year (65p iirc) before the winter....
Thats what there hoping to pay by no means guaranteeing. How much more can you smuggle in as yours at that price @hubbahubba ??

50p last year, i have to say I don’t particularly roll the fleeces as I’m on my own I kind of told them and chuck em in and they never complain. There std grade is texel cross they deal with a lot of people around me with similar flock types. What did you get of bwmb last year per kilo?

The way BWMB works, it's the year previous...
So the cheque last year (for 2018 wool) averaged out at £1.21/kg.
Lleyn and TexX ewes averaging around 2kg wool per ewe
that sounds good for 2018, im sure mine was around 85 ppkg,
i will have to repack it all into bwmb bags and take it there in 2021!!
tex corss and mules.
