250cc quads

Can’t get hold of these anymore due to some emissions regs. Next Honda up is a 420cc 4wd which is less agile, more thirsty and I think more prone to staff getting big/unsafe speeds.

We normally replace one of ours every year and now scratching our heads. Mule type things are more money but potentially safer/more comfortable, I’m ruling out 2 wheelers on safety grounds. What are other people using instead? @Grassman247

Keep your existing one for a couple of years? Or are they costing in repair bills? Our 250cc is tidy so o don’t want to replace for the same reasons

Keep searching for a tidy 250 Honda and keep it.

Is the Suzuki Ozark still available. Folks rate them too

Replace every year :eek:That's a big cost.

£1400 will get you a really smart 2 wheeler. Fraction of the running costs and probably a lot safer.

We've had 18 months out of this - bought for £900, running costs to date, 1 tyre, 1 puncture, 1 chain + fuel, (a tank lasts about a week)
Way cheaper than any quad.

Yamaha 350 here been pleased with it.

It's gone, too.

It isn't the emissions so much. There's no (global) market for small bikes and the UK is such a small sector (there's 1 state in the USA buys more bikes a year than the whole if Europe) so it's go big or go home - our choice is dictated by the Americans. It won't be too many more years before 400-450cc bikes aren't available

Ah really. What’s the smallest quad available now?

I like bikes !But where do the stakes go ?And everything else I manage to strap to the frames!
You just have to think about your time and motion a little more.
The biggest thing is to make sure that the different areas of paddocks have the fencing kit out there for the season., Then all you do is reel out and wind up on foot anyway

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
