There was a turbo charged TS115 doing around 200 but it didnāt last longseen a tm120 dyno at 230hp a few years ago, also a ford 8240 at 150hp. 7.5 powerstar got to be up there with the 6bt as one of the best tractor engines

a JD dealer in Somerset turned a 6420S over 200hp and it blew up on the yard with them, subsequently they lost the dealership shortly after but whether that was hearsay or not Iām unsure ?There was a turbo charged TS115 doing around 200 but it didnāt last long

Will they be updating it to look like the 8sThe biggest fergie there is, at the moment.
Yes your point being? The cooling capacity is what dictates the maximum reliable power, hence TMs can reliably produce a lot more power than a ts115 with aftermarket turbo, or a 6250r can make more than a 6610. All that aside, both the engines I mentioned are as bombproof as they come, hence my comment.Any engine will make horsepower with a Bosch A or P pump hanging on the side...
Doesn't necessarily mean that the engine in itself is any count
People seem to speak highly of those engines because of the power they could make... any 6bt or 7.5 that I've been around that was making more than stock power either suffered from cracked heads or thrown rods. Just 2 engines I wouldn't necessarily brag about that's all.Yes your point being? i know of many of both engines which are making more than stock power and none have had any problems. most of them are over 10k hours, one of the 6bt is on 27k hoursPeople seem to speak highly of those engines because of the power they could make... any 6bt or 7.5 that I've been around that was making more than stock power either suffered from cracked heads or thrown rods.
