You chaps giving a the OP a hard time yes it’s naive but a brilliant opportunity to cut out AIC and RT 🥰
Exactly. If farmers could stick together and market there own goods this could be a fantastic opportunity.

Instead everyone's just laughing.

He'll need to go to a merchant unfortunately. Probably some of those that were offering farmers ÂŁ150/t off the combine in July!

You say you're a UK company but give no clue to identity. Call me boring but I don't want to send umpteen tons of barley to an unknown company who's got an export contract.
I like to know who I'm dealing with.
Maybe I'm just old fashioned

For that amount I imagine you need to put it out to tender. I've no idea how this works.

No offence but I think your out of your depth if looking for it on here.

How much do you think it will cost before shipping?

My calculator says 11.5M. You'll probably need to give someone your telephone number if they are going to deal with you for this amount.

For large tonnages like this you'd be advised to speak with some of the national grain merchants such as:

ADm
Frontier
Open-field

My calculation says 7.5M to 10.5M depending on the time you purchase but I am not that experienced like you guys, if your calculation says ÂŁ11.5M then it is 11.5M
If I find a supplier of course I prefer to communicate on phone or on email, but this is when I find the right contact.

We as a UK based company supplying goods to Libya last 2 years.
Generators, valves. pumps, pipes. workers camp etc.
I received an inquiry for feed barley and decided to join a forum about this and post it here as I need the correct/reliable supplier so that we can make a smooth trade.
So it will go to Tripoli-Libya.

I calculated 50k/t x ÂŁ230/t.

Be haulage plus handling charges at docks too I imagine.

How many tons can you get on a boat out of interest?
