That’s going to take some sorting out .Ok, own up?
Saw that.very lucky there was no loss of lifeThat’s going to take some sorting out .
There’s also a video floating around Facebook of a combine which apparently had a metal bar going through the back tyre and veering out of control
Farols
No as in its farols demo combine/header on the move I believe.Do you mean the dealer was responsible?
I should add not knowing the details as to wether the header fell off or was knocked off by another vehicle.

Well I should imagine for it to fall off the head on the front but not the back and get fetched off by that sign either the driver didn’t latch it on properly or check it was latched OR something on the locking mechanism failed, either way being farols / JD’s issue. The question remains the same.

It was a statement not a question, I know it was a demo unit…To be fair, you will do well to find a green tractor in these parts that dont have a FAROL sticker on.
Unless someone knows for sure it’s a demo unit then it’s most likely a local
Header trolley not built particularly well if a pothole can shake it hard enough to break the lock down latchesIt happened yesterday.
The header is now back at base being repaired.
It was a demo unit from FAROL but it wasn’t human error, hit a pothole causing mechanical failure.
Take care folks, that’s two accidents due to roads I’ve seen recently, the other being the combine mentioned above due to a metal bar in rear combine tyre.

On the bright side there might be a cheap ex demo combine for sale soon with very few acres covered but with no headerYou were indeed correct
Having just seen the pothole, at the speed they were going that word have made her jump around a fair bit!
They had farols lorry and hiab there putting it back on the trolley. Needed some room for manoeuvres. You do wonder if the tractor just moved forward a bit the header would turn round and they could get a lane open. Doesn’t seem necessary to leave it sat across both lanes.
How can a pot hole detach the header? It happened yesterday.
