Anything new with ploughs?

One thing to look for is a hyd depth wheel was talked into it by lemken salesman when we bought our over hyd front furrow and definitely he was right absolutely awesome option for starting and finishing off and headlands, also a big fan of electrohydraulic pitch adjustment on the lemken and quick attach slates. Run the mounted individual wheel press which is good and nothing wrong with it. But our 6f mounted slated manual variwidth is heavy with the press 200hp claas with 1.25t on front linkage to be boss of it.

If buying a new plough I'd try and get one where depth wheel isn't right at back.

It's a pain, when trying to plough edge of fields and can't get last bit because depth wheel against fence/wall.
My last plough had a mid mount wheel too get close too the fence flat ground it was fine but the slightest hump it was hopeless

I've used a Kuhn with a mid mounted wheel, it was hopeless. The plough rocked on it. The wheel has now been moved to the back and it's a completely different plough. The theory behind mid mounted wheels is much better than the reality.

My Neanderthal brain was wondering if there’s anything new with ploughs? We currently have a 5 furrow slatted body in furrow Lemken Europal fitted with subsoilers. We use it with a furrow press.

If I was to replace it this year should I go with the same or is there anything better? Is it better with furrow cutting discs? Hydraulic width adjustment? In furrow or on top?

Thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.
Lemken jewel8i and kv Iplough I would guess are at the forefront of the technology on a plough these days. Price tag to go with them no doubt.
