Surely a phone call to your "group" would give you a reasonable idea. This is worth reading https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/new-osr-herbicide-belkar-my-experience.250774/

I'm not doing pre em clomazone here as I don't want to hold the crop back at all. Instead, I'll use Belkar later in October on the basis that I'll pay more but have a better crop as a result. I will cry if I have to follow up with another dose or Astrokerb later.
Are you going for the full .5L or trying to get away with .25L once?
Had a think about herbi options and I am thinking of sticking with the full pre-em. Likely would need 0.5L total of belkar and that may still leave me with a grass weed issue, so likely need a kerb or Akerb.
The price of the pre em and a dose of kerb if getting weedy again still looks favourable compared to belkar.
Banister has a buy back option if crop fails.

I'll see what comes up, including the crop. 0.25 if I can, following up if not. Generic Kerb later is assumed but I need hedge mustard and cleavers controlled.

Already done that and read the strategies. Just wanted a hands on view as well.
Any way decision made, this year I’m going with Belkar. But to be honest I’m hoping it’s a one dose of 0.25Belkar followed by Kerb.
Can’t use Astrokerb as I bale the straw.
If I have to use a double dose it’s going to be VERY expensive

My plan was to use the .25 and accept a kerb/astro pass in December. That why played the risk game with regards establishment and will know what I have to spend - even though it will be more than the pre-em strat.
Long discussion with agronomist, he reckons I have to plan for the full .5, maybe I might get away with one x half dose but he said to plan for .5 . Will have to hit it v earlier for only half rate and my timeliness is poor at best.

On that advice a full pre em and and full Akerb is cheaper!

I tried.5 and .25 last year.25 was way better for some unexpected reason

Centurion Max then 14 day interval to spraying Belkar? I did this last year and went 0.5l/ha Belkar. Unfortunately the broadleabed weeds had got very big. Belkar did a very good job, especially on cranesbill, but the chickweed which looked dead came back to life. If you can I would go 0.25l/ha Belkar followed by Centurion Max and then come back with 0.25 Belkar if you need to. Hope your OSR survives the flea beetles for this dilemma to become a reality.

Does that leave a big hole for amg, or will centurion max do enough of a job?

Surely you need to do graminicide first?
That was what I was thinking, but obviously neither Belkar nor graminicides control annual meadow grass. Therefore, do people commit to metazachlor early (or tank mixed if compatible?) or do they just follow up with kerb?
I’ve not used it before so keen for any advice/experiences
