I am quite happy with my Tanco, it has done several thousand bales.Looking to buy a bale shear and wondering which is best there’s loads around here but all claim to be best Tanco and keltic the main ones I like the look of the prodig but haven’t seen them in action
I’m just feeding straight into passage way’s daily and round feeders twice a weekA lot depends on what you are doing with the bale. Tanco drops the cut half and the wrap down so if you're filling a wagon or ring feeder you need more lift height and roof clearance if indoors. Keltec.cuts up through the bale
Jez I’d say they would be working hard to cut it.Can they cut a bale of hay in half?
What make is it?We cut thousands a year with one of these
CashelsWhat make is it?
The tanco and cashels definitely doDoes any of them hold half the bales so you can take it to another pen?
That's ok but there's still a bit of net left in that video, probably just the start bit of net, do they all leave this bit?We cut thousands a year with one of these
Depends where the net ends as to wether it leaves a little bit or not. I think all shears would do this. We have gone away from net this year and are using film instead because we hate netwrap so much! That's ok but there's still a bit of net left in that video, probably just the start bit of net, do they all leave this bit?
They can all leave a bit of net if it happens that the inner end of the net is in the bit cut off for a start. That's ok but there's still a bit of net left in that video, probably just the start bit of net, do they all leave this bit?
