depends how she is ?
I don't think we will put Boss {Ursula] back in calf again, her udder is getting very low and before she calved she was starting to get a bit puffed out if she had to walk up the road but apart from that she calved him on her own no problem and was fine after and the calf was up in a quarter hour so she can't be to bad
I think she will be about the place for some time,
she may well be the last Peel cow left alive which won't mean much to some but the first blue bull we bought was her brother,
Boss is actually the most expensive cow we have bought
If its lasted this long, wont it be the cheapest cow you"ve bought?? :scratchhead: :D:LOL:(y)

Ding Valley Kaddie, sired by Twyning ash Armstrong.
We call him Kaddie the daddy as we have had 14 pedigree calves sired by him now with more on the way and loads of cross breeds.
He has been very good for us maybe not the most exciting bull to look at but good at his job and easy calving we have used him on heifers including pedigree heifers

Ding valley Prince with his dam Kim. Sired by Ding valley Kaddie,
Coming on nice we think, he also has some Ding valley farmersboy in him who was our first home bred ped blue and goes back to Peel Troubadour who was the first blue bull we owned so a bit of history in a calf for us.

Bit of a sad day today we decided to let Ursula who was 18 go as she was getting a bit bad on her back legs, she could still get around ok but we didn't want to find she couldn't get up one morning, she had a good summer out in a little paddock with her bull calf who is looking well.
End of an era really, will miss having Boss (as we called her) around the place,
