Don't bother with diet feeder just take it steady with dung grab or buckrake. I grab out face and make a slope before putting in 1st cut. Stops clamp slipping/falling at join in winter.

I've reclamped silage several times now, made field heaps. works well, slow and steady on the clamp and roll it in well. sheet it well, its the same as making silage, don't cut corners. First load I made I was unsure about but when opened it had less rot than the concrete pit i had bought it from!

If can cut and transport as nice blocks, what stopping using Vacuum Silage process on the yard with each block in a separate sealed sheet?

So we had a number of loads.

The low DM silage kept better but was used faster than the higher DM silage that started to warm at day 4.

Out full time now, trying to balance day/night fecked up rotations ,got to love a challenge!
