Ive run out of my stash of Blue Top Calciject, and the drench above sounds like it might work OK with added energy and Mg. So a bit like Blue top.

We use EasyCal from Animax. It’s designed for diary cows so part of their set doses. Works in about 20 minutes for ring womb.

Or you can just buy 20 litre drum of propylene glycol for a few quid.

we are referring to sheep here in this thread.

for anyone unaware number 2 is just calcium and no. 5 has a bit of mag in but its a cattle strength rec.

but none have the addition injectable glucose mores a pity

everything changes , but not necessarily for the better

I've only ever used No 5, under the skin, and have seen plenty of spectacular recoveries. I'd never even heard of the No 6 stuff until you lot were bemoaning it's loss on here.

I’m getting on well with Calcijet 5 and Glycerol plus. Seems to work quicker than propylene glycol. Bad cases I also IV injectable glucose.
