I'll check model number later but it's got 2 rows of Spring boards, then 3 rows of tines and is 7.2m wide. Is used for levelling after paper crumble has been spread to break up lumps etc but has a nice aggressive action on moles hills and the likes. Galv finish is a bonus.
Looks a smart bit of kit Ed. (y)

How deep does it slit ?
For reseeding on sprayed off ground how many passes to create a tilth?would the knifes slice up to much if had to go over twice ?
Roughly approx cost of 3m

The knives are adjustable, as is the rest, so you could choose how aggressive (or not) you want to set them.

I bought a used 4.5m one last year, as I chanced upon one locally. At the time I had many acres of mole hills, with a bit of grass, that needed levelling, and it seemed a better machine/deal than anything else available at the time. It worked well for what I wanted, and is a flexible tool for future use. One field I did last Spring has the drive running right through it. I was surprised that the neat stripes in the grass were noticeable for several months afterward, despite being grazed tight several times.

Not used it yet this Spring, as been too wet to get on most of it until recently, then too busy lambing, now too much grass....:(

Talked to/PM'd a couple of users before I purchased it and they were using it for seedbed preparation on worked ground too. It is certainly a versatile machine, with more or less everything adjustable, but certainly not a cheap harrow at full rrp!

IF .. It's does what it looks like it can do, it would eliminate a couple of machines, an aerway and einbock Harrow, if I was to put a seeder on top another one !
Hence @neilo the curiousity!

Now maybe the price would be

IIRC, the new price on a 3m last year was around £5k (without a seeder unit).

But yes, they combine some of the abilities of all those machines. The build quality is great and they are versatile. Much like an Einbock, a seeder would work great on it, IN THE RIGHT CONDITIONS. Also like an Einbock, it could waste some expensive seed.

Excellent bit of machinery not to be underestimated, i had one on demo from TRP Imports and it never went back. Ive done allsorts of grassland with it it slits levels and scarifies works better at speed around 10 to 12 kmh.Ive now started using it on football pitches not only does it aerate the levelling boards fill all the stud holes in and it scarifies too. I used it to level some ground before sowing with grass seed last week did an excellent job. Some say they are expensive i beg to differ after using one because you have to remember your doing 3 jobs in one pass. Sean at TRP Imports at Sleaford is very helpful contact him im sure he will sort a demo machine very quickly to try.

Had to take the mole tump levelling boards off mine. The harrow just skidded across the top of the round on them. Fitted extra knives instead of them.
