We have had 2 rounds for grant application's of 4 that were originally planned but I am not sure that if now we are heading into Brexit that will now finish this scheme and stop further rounds as I think it was EU monies so no more maybe forthcoming.

That is kind of what I was wondering...

But "level playing field" and all that, I see Ireland has a similiar scheme running until end of 2020....

But I think the EU Ag monies will come to the UK this year, or will teh much vaunted "Leave end of Jan" scupper this too??

Heard a rumour that we may see a 3rd Round of this scheme...

The only reason I can see that Bozzer/Chancellor will allow a spend like based on gut feeling, was that while Govt money for agriculture is going to be seriously limited, there is a hope that there is still a stack of budgeted EU cash that needs to be spent ASAP, so that it is not absorbed back into the UK/EU pot!

Anyone else with some positive news on this?

Will the totals be reset or rolled on?
In round 2 you could apply for the amount you didn’t claim in round 1 (£9,600 if no application in round one, £5000 if £4600 claimed in round one)
In round 3, will this be reset so you can claim another full amount? Or will totals be rolled on?

Gut instinct is we can say bye bye to any new schemes that are not actually rolled out yet, for a year or 3. There will not be much spare money sloshing around in any Govt in the World, post the CV19 crisis!

Schemes like this will probably become more common under ELMs but they'll be more targeted though, DEFRA has a food and farming productivity team that is working on things like this

I have seen 2 indications there will be another round.
On correspondence from the last round it said they needed to complete the last round before they could start round three.... we are yet to be paid for round 2😅😅🤣, should do soon hopefully.
My buying group -coop had been notified they would release round 3 soon.

I was informed that there would be a round 3 very soon to use up the budget.

DEFRA too busy to make any changes so same items available I was also told.
DEFRA too busy . What a joke

They did get a lot tramsfered for Brexit but they’re all back - well working from home and still getting ridiculously procedural on approvals of grant

Got to the point now where I’d ask why AHDB recommended some of the items rather than wider scope available from a variety of suppliers and also seriously considering whether it’s worth the hassle supplying
