Boots over the last 2 Years:
Le Chemaeu Ceres Neo- Absolute Murderers in the Yard, Very comfortable but will try and Kill you at the slightest of Incline (Even on Grass) or very flat concrete. of which there is very little at mine :ROFLMAO: Also split on the top and back. Leading to wet shitty feet.
Bekina Steplites- had 2 pairs lasted 3 months each. was not happy, Both split on the top of the foot. I guess it must be user error, Also too low for me seemed to flow from milking apron right in to boot. but wet shitty feet none the less
Aigle Parcours 2- Went through a couple pairs of insoles, Normally my shooting Wellies, started wearing as I was annoyed with the others. Extremely comfortable, Great Grip. But too expensive for running round the yards with and way too hot in the summer and very heavy. Not sure if they are suitable for chems, eventually led to Wet shitty feet.
Nora Noramax- Pretty cheap when I bought them, ~£45 didn't expect much surprisingly comfortable, nice and light, decent grip seem to be holding up well so far, so no Wet shitty feet as yet 🤞

Might give those Hunters a try next, They look like the type of wellies you can use for a weekend then leave with your tent and your dryrobe as they are "unsalvagable" after a long weekend at a mid somerset dairy farm.

Ran after a cow I'd missed but wanted to draft in them once. I fell in a way that must have looked like a cartoon where my feet reached shoulder height before I fell like a sack of spud. Crikey that hurt!

1st pair of noramax lasted about 11months before one sole gave out, 2nd pair did about 3 months before both soles gave out. Got a replacement pair as I discovered they have a 1 year warranty 🤞 doing ok so far. Kiwi kit techno wellys or whatever they're called were terrible, 2 pairs in about 4 months.
Anyone looking for wellingtons I'd recommend totally wellies at York good prices online and good backup if there's a problem

If I have a word of advice - Wellies ,Dunlop Purafort ,the dearer ones for me ,light ,wear quite well(I think they have changed the name now )
Easy to get on and off ,I had a hip replacement and some wellies are a challenge to remove quickly !!

But my advice is mainly ,chuck out most of the fitted insoles and put some of these in
Gel heel pad and contour shaped to your instep ,relatively cheap too !

Thank me later ;)

Noramax are utter rubbish. Only last 4-5 weeks. Waste of money. Le Chemaeu Ceres are the only welly that lasts for at least 10 months and longer but bloody hell they are a cold welly like I found again this morning. Going to have to go back to the Muckboots for the winter and get a snow welly. Will probably break a bone falling in them at some stage but at least my feet will be warm.

Also, Hunter wellies are pure dirt. 4 weeks before they started to perish. Hunter wouldn’t refund cause in their small print it stated not suitable for manure.

Nora max are lasting much longer than that for me, biggest problem I have with mine is they’re tight on the toes, next time will go for a size bigger.
I’ve got some Muckboots, alright for going to a farm walk or similar but that cloth type stuff on the sides, completely impractical for cleaning when working in dirty conditions, the most inappropriately named wellies out there 😂😂😂

I've a piece of old carpet from the living room, where a window installer had a bit of a whoopsie with a can of expanding foam.
As soon as I get a new pair of wellies I pull out the insoles, place them on the old carpet and cut around them then insert the carpet into the wellies. For the first month or so it's like walking across your living room, they last a lot longer than standard insoles, and once their done just cut another pair out of the carpet, all for zero cost 👌
