Has there been a news blackout on reporting lack of fuel at filling stations then? To try and avoid panic buying or I have I just missed it on radio and tv?
Only on the BBC. Other media are reporting it. I expect the beeb won't won't to put anything that might show that we actually need stuff from Russia from time to time.

Nothing to do with Russia,
There fuel is available,
Just these activists stopping delivery,
Either way, doesn't fit the BBC narrative to slag off climate protestors. Russia typically would supply 20 percent of UK diesel. Refined overseas, delivered in bulk.

Fuel rationing, surely if it's a problem which can't be solved then fuel stamps are the only way.

Sort these daft buggers out who drive 80-100 miles to work from home every day instead of living locally.
So how far are you going to let me drive to work then,
Tomorrow I’m working 40 miles away, !!
next job, 35 miles away, !!
looking at a job Tuesday 80 miles away, !!
These protests will affect lots of businesses large and small, travel is part of modern world,

Not like that , someone who does a desk job and lives a stupid long way away.

They are the ones who don't need to travel if they lived closer to allow supplies for genuine travel.

Some people do not realise how lucky they are to live on the job!
some years ago on a train early in the morning , overheard two gentlemen opposite discussing work and travel. Realising how lucky I was that I did not have a 2 hour commute both ends of the day to earn a crust
I disagree , these folk want London wages but not London living costs .

When I was younger in the late 70s early 80s there was the pit buses that used to pick men up from villages and take them to the pit big factories used to do it to , now everyone has there own transport now and less than 20% use public transport on a regular basis

in Wales the coal pit owners built whole towns to house their workers today there is no need to commute to a office miles away as covid showed they can work from home
