Drone over our property

Also radar works by seeing reflected radio waves, tin foil reflects them and confuses the receiver by giving false hits. Tin foil won't stop or scramble radio waves.
I think if drones lose their signal they hover in place until they get it back or eventually run out of batteries.

I was taking up electric fence behind our neighbouring gypsy camp last week when a small drone appeared. It flitted around for a minute or 2 before returning to the camp. I wonder what they'd do if I bought one and started flying it over the camp? (In fact, i'm confident i'd have threats of violence follow quickly based on past interactions. They REALLY don't like cameras being pointed at them).

This may not be what you think it is. Some of these 'drones' are simply earth atmosphere taxis transferring extra terrestrial visitors around from their parked mother ship. You should report sightings to SETI as they're desperately looking for evidence of extra terrestrial life to keep funds flowing into their coffers.

so shooting it down would invite gross retribution from Darth Vader perhaps ;)

Why not shut the workshop doors?

Drone can fly over as much as they like, but not much point if anything worth nicking is hidden behind a well locked barricade?

You can then wire the door to the mains electricity to will deal with the human intruders. I'd suggest digging a big hole in preparation, you'll need somewhere contain the evidenced of barbequed bodies 🤣

I've an uncle who got totally fed up of the local thieving gypsy, err community, and actually did wire up his workshop door to an electric fence energiser.....

..... Quad bike, tools and diesel stopped being stolen 👍

They used their battery cutters and angle grinders to destroy every hydraulic pipe and piece of wiring loom they could get to on one of his tractors instead 😭

Admittedly they haven't been back since, though he's never said anything about what's under the foundations of his new shed either

Was doing a few jobs this evening in the workshop had my headphones on so wasn’t aware. Mrs appears pointing at the sky me being me thought she’s lost it again….

low and behold there’s a drone 5-6m above The workshop door, had flown over a spinney of trees and an acre, picked up a brick end and launched it at it for it to disappear over the hedge row, we hid for a moment and it returned. Set off on the quad to find three 40 year old blokes one walked off deleting what I assumed is footage recorded. I went bazerk and followed them home. Call to the police led to two cars and four police offers appearing to stop a breach of the peace an hour and a half later, the Police were not interested at all as there’s no crime committed. Just glazed eyed oh yes sir but there’s no crime committed. I don’t want to wake up at 2am to three blokes in our shed again to be quite honest.

What legally can I do about these drones as it’s the second I’ve had in 12 months.
Need a drone signal jammer, if they are legal....
