You cant compete with someone who is getting Sub to buy , all these things have knock on effectGood point there... I was talking with a Farmer from near Mach a fortnight ago and mentioned that the Auctioneers anticipated a drop in straw prices and he said that his supplier coming from the East Midlands had a power station putting a bottom in the Market, "no bargains now" he told me!

Yes and who will they be ringing to take the waste,livestock men.You've conveniently forgotten the by product of ethanol - distiller's grains...
Also seen osr grown on land prepared by tractor run on biofuel made on same land.Oats for farm ploughing horses - the original biofuel! There's nothing new in agriculture.
