Ez guide 500 coverage switch.

I've recently bought a ez guide 500 and want to wire it in to the sprayer and another tractor for area coverage, I've found the signal outputs I need for both the tractor and the sprayer and I have spoke to as Comms and double checked which pins I need to use on the back of the GPS. I just need a plug, can someone point me in the right direction of a source for these plugs.

I think that they are plugs like the ones that were on computer screens (Com?)

Below a list of terminal numbers that I have used in the past. Note that you mustn't have power to either terminal.

500
Pin Out:
1. Keypad alarm data
2. RS-232 Rx
3. RS-232 Tx
4. External Switch input
5. Ground
6. Keypad serial data
7. Keypad Clock
8. External Output (Radar Pulses)
9. Power (5 volts) to keypad

Bridge pin 4 and 5 for coverage logging.

Just be sure that you only bridge these wires. If you are connecting to your boom switch which is powered use a relay to bridge the pins etc.

If you go rummaging in that box of ancient computer stuff you'll probably find one to chop off the end of serial mouse or printer cable.

Just in case you haven't got all the bells on your sprayer, a 500 + EZ Boom can get you into rate & section control for a few hundred quid, with no unlocks/subs.

Apparently according to the wife "that box" got chucked out ages ago because I quote "why do you need to hoard all that crap"
Its now going to cost me 2 and a half quid......that is assuming it's the right one.

the plug in the photo above is an RS232 (male).
Easiest place to get them is EBAY and cut a wire in half.

Next question does anyone know what this plug is and what it's called. It's on the side console of case maxxum and has a in/out of work output signal which I want to use with the ez guide if I swap it to this tractor.

That will be the tractor's 7 pin ISO socket

7pin iso socket in back of tractor into muller or Amazone box they are both the same. At a reasonable price just been quoted £137

On a Trimble 750 you can connect 1 pin of that directly to the coverage input (at least on a cnh). I don't know for sure on a 500, so safest to connect a relay to close the 2 pins.
