FM-1000 and Horsch Pronto DC ISOBUS issues?

A new to us Trimble FM-1000 with ISOBUS unlock with our some years old Horsch Pronto DC Combi Seeder.
Task Controller seems to be OK for Section and Rate Control. Latest firmware on both gadgets.

But to our disapointment we do not get any sound alarm from the FM-1000 when the seed of fertilizer box gets empty. The Horsch (Muller) terminal gave a very loud sound alarm.

Any fix for this?

Could we maybe run both the Horsch Terminal and the FM-1000 (FMX) side by side having only Task Controller on FM-1000?

With our wiring we need to have the Horsch Terminal in the cab anyways to get the job computer on the drill started up.
We have a Y wire with D9-Sub connectors connected to both the Horsch Terminal D9-Sub (A) and FM-1000 (Can Lo / Can Hi) from the D9-Sub connector of the retrofit ISOBUS harness.

Be easier to fit an external speaker to fmx1000. Someone will give you the pin outs. I have fitted external speakers to topcon x30. For sh1!s an giggles I’d leave it on max volume! It would wake the dead!

Just run the Muller box with a GPS signal from the Trimble if you’re trying to use VRS, though you’d need to VR unlock the ECU on the drill.

Or like @Zebbedee (and me) fit a camera in the hopper showing on the Trimble screen.

Thanks!

We ended up putting a camera in the seed hopper (the front one).

We also found out that the FM-1000 / FMX ISOBUS task controller can control only metering motor 1 rate I. Did not find a way to get it to control motor 2.
So in order to use the bigger rear hopper for fertilizer with VRA prescriptions we will have to plug the motor 1 wire to rear metering unit and motor 2 wire to the front metering unit with seed....

Unlocks are a Trimble screen thing, no unlocks for the Horsch drill ECU.
It can be done either way, but things may have changed since Trimble bought out Müller.

On my drill the Trimble box was only doing steering and sending an NMEA (position) signal to the Muller box. Task Control/ VRS is done by uploading an isoxml file to the Müller Box.
The salesman was adamant that it’s the drill and not the Müller control box that needs to be unlocked (£800) to allow ‘task control’ (TC) to run. Having said that, we’ve caught him out on a few other supposed ‘facts’.
Having moved the drill to a Puma 240 the GPS signal now comes from a port on the Nav Controller.

@Sitting Pretty does VRS the other way round, with TC unlocked on the tractors isobus, without using a Müller head unit. I’m guessing you’re the same.

We only use the Müller screen to run the virtual terminal that controls the drill. The C3000 runs the rest. Even if the C3000 does not have all the same features as the Topcon X30, it still supports seed and fertilizer separately (section control) without any unlocks (on the terminal). The drill control box has no unlocks done, there is nothing that could be unlocked.

My FM-1000 came with Sonalert external speakers. They were silly loud though and went off for far many things, so they rapidly got removed and the cables reused for remote switches.

I can't remember what the original pin out was for it now though as the plugs had to be reconfigured for the remote switches.
