The reason agriculture is in the mess it’s in, is because we haven’t protested enough over the years. Instead we’ve listened to our pathetic excuse for a union who rolls over in government so they can carry on riding the gravy train.
Tbh we have relied on our European ex partners to do the protesting on our behalf…..and we have reaped the benefit. French farmers wouldn’t stand for half the sh*t we live with.

Never been this peaceful? Your granny can’t go the shops without having her handbag pinched… young kids as young as 12 are stabbing eachother and anyone else that looks at them funny… your not safe in your own home anymore there burglarys every night looking for car keys too steal your motor… nobody says hello when they pass on the street anymore Incase they get shanked for it… people litrally can ruin your entire life and lively hood in seconds with a single Facebook post .. it might not be world war 2 but f**k me the country is a sh!t place too live… now with these fuel prices how long before you can’t leave the farm without coming back too an empty diesel tank ??
Luckily we never completely gave away our means of protecting ourselves over here. We have our own problems but not really any that you described.

Isn't living in "a civilised society" fun though, when you actually get how uncivil it gets

we hate war and fighting so much that we bring it into peacetime, so we can prove to each other how much we enjoy being free, by putting ourselves in a position we feel we need to be told what to do and how to be
