Gator temperature

We've got a gator 865 that's less than a year I'll old. It's started to run-up to the red and sometimes 1 bar into to the red then fan kicks in and it drops straight down to 1 below red. Dealer seems to think this is normal but how come it's not done this since march when we got it....
It's done nearly 900hrs and soon be out of warranty.

Common fault with them is crap earth points ours must have had them out 8 times before they got it sorted so get them to get it sorted under warranty which they don’t seem to like doing had new front wheel bearings fitted to ours then they sent us a bill for £750 soon got told where to shove it

Forgot to say the fan is on a different temp sensor to the dash our one said it was over heating all the time but very rarely the fan would kick in

Gators are overpriced heaps. I swear our's spends more time in John deere than it does working these days and at this point its probably doing 2hrs a week and still breaks down!
Not all bad we have a 825i in which I have now clocked up 30,000 miles without too much trouble except for tyre wear & a drive belt

Ive heard good things about them but dealership backup would worry me.
Why? Bad dealer or long distance away? Mines 60mile away. @Al R is some distance I believe and maybe @exmoor dave
Mine is almost 2 hours, in 13 months only had 1 service done on farm, does 40mph easy even pulling the Rappa with DF on the road for 10 mile, although temperature did go to 89*C but when I turned heater on it dropped to 80*C again, I have since noticed the air intake grills are caked so that could be what raised the temp.

Its says there is a dealer near us but looking on there website don't say they even do polaris...
I really like the gator but every one we have had has let us down big time just when you need it.

Back to the subject, it kept going all the way to the top of red and flashing stop today then go back to normal. Thank you for who suggested it might be the earth. Dealer has now said it's probably a bad earth and that I've got to look at that myself as its not covered under warranty.... service item supposedly, bit naff that they have ben out twice and I've got to do this myself. No big one I know but so much for the warranty...

Phone the Polaris dealer, I know what updating websites is like and most have to pay someone to edit something so don’t bother for a while… if not anyone within 100 mile?
