Grass field price

Been paying £8 a bale for 7or8 years including second cut. Seems a lot some years others not to bad, it's handy to home for me and don't get a look in usually as the big boys take it all.
Don't forget to chop the bales up to you whether you tell anyone if you do

Nothing wrong with one of those, providing you knew how to use one.

I know, I've got one; but I'd rather buy by the bale out of a Welger 435 with chopper on.

Summer grass lets round here have been making over £200/ac, for poor’ish grass.
That’s what’s bringing it to the market.

I think there’s so much on the market this year because land owners getting greedy and people not keen on paying it anymore.. seen quite a few big blocks up for let still being advertised after the tender deadlines this year… which says too me either nobody wants it or landowners are getting far too greedy
