Heard him on the radio yesterday, taking about his tractor and the jcb, the presenter had not a clue what he was talking about, he's a great down to earth man and l will watch tomorrow night.

Last I heard he had a JD 7310r that replaced his 936 Fendt . Obviously a man that knows his stuff

A friend of mine used a Nuffield something or other as a car for q bit when he hadn't passed his driving test but had a tractor license. It had a lorry engine in it so it would rev higher than a tractor I think I remember him saying. Wasn't unheard of for him to overtake cars if they were a bit slow
I bet he couldn't stop it though

My father had a 10/60 with a 6 cylinder conversion many years ago,befor I could drive a tractor and as said it went like stink.......but the brakes were....non existent.

The 10/60 was the first Nuffield fitted with disc brakes. The first one I used in was a1965 and the brakes were virtually a switch - press pedal and nothing happened then a Big Bang and the wheels locked and left 2 black lines on the road.
I was impossible to slow yourself down as the brakes were either on or off with nothing in between.

I keep re setting the wheel diameter/radius in the dash but it keeps going off sink

I used to be a big fan but hate the way the tv over egg him. There are many more that do what he does and faster with less.
