I always plug the pipes in a way that if you pull tip spool towards you it tips body, but if you pull tailgate spool towards you it closes tailgate.
Saves embarrassing accidents when your reversing into a shed when tired and/ or drunk.

Keep an eye out for overtaking cars, don't cut corners on roads in case someone is overtaking and mind when you're turning off the road they usually want to over take you.

As a message of thanks to everyone
Day yesterday went extremley well...no near accidents or anything
Was driving a 7280R john deere with a 16t grain trailer.
All went well until the combine had a blowout and couldnt be fixed until today but then it rained.
So back on with it tommorrow

How in the fudge, first day out on grain cart as a young buck and driving around in a 7280R, I'd have given my right arm for even a day in that rather than the carp I had to drive when I was young.

Give way to loaded trailers.

every time you leave the hard road imagine you are driving on egg shells, only drive when you need to, most farms are big into soil compaction, grain trailers are bad news.

stick to headlands and tram lines as much as you can

watch the roof when tipping, especially when leaving the builder, most farm have the student fingerprint on the roof(10 new roof sheets!)
