This is the Self Employment support scheme right? I’ve had the letter through, but am wondering whether to apply. To be eligible your business should have been adversely affected. It’s likely that we have been adversely affected (eg by the fat cattle price being opportunistically depressed by processors and supermarkets), but I’d probably have a hard time proving it.

I wouldn’t want to be accused of fraud later!
Equally I wouldn’t want to be a mug and not claim some ‘free’ money.

What’s everyone else doing?

I would have thought most farmers have been adversely affected, cattle price being no1, also market's were shut for a couple of weeks so stock have been fed longer as well as price dropping.
I've struggled to get feed & had to travel further to get it ( mole valley furloughed the staff at the local store ).
I've been waiting 3 weeks for a tractor part & want to start silage next week.
A increase in people not using the footpath & walking all over fields causing damage to crops + having to repeatedly warn people to put dogs on leads near cattle.
Oh & the people trespassing are being paid to be at home !!!
