JCB 2CX street master & JCB 2cx air master

I've spent enougth this year.

But enjoying watching various JCB 2cx's on the Ritchie Auction @ Maltby.

I know they have limitations but look really useful for the money they will likely sell for.

Air masters a bit obsolete now with peckers on mini diggers & hydraulic breakers. What else can the air be used for? Is it possible to use normal small workshop tools from a tractor mounted compressor like air drills, nibblers, ratchets. or is there too much air?

So you can't blow your tyres up then or use a hand held air drill to quickly drill though a gate post, shame that, but thanks.
Yes you can, just got to be sensible they are designed to run hi flow air so like to run more continuously smaller air tools may make them offload more frequently than say a pneumatic drill or blow lance but for odd jobs perfectly fine have used road tow compressors for this with no issues if sensible ! :)

I have a road-tow compressor.
This gives me a nice steady 100cfm if needed, particularly good for a pneumatic breaker or air-picking soil for ground-works.
This serves many tools, the best being my orbital sander. Not forgetting being able to spray paint, blow up a tyre, use an air impact driver, drill and the plethora of other air tools.
I think the max pressure it will give is 80psi so nothing compared to a purpose built workshop compressor and receiver.
I have a pressure regulator, oiler and separator on the wall of the workshop for the hand-tools. The pipe plugs in here.
Why can’t the JCB not operate all the above?
