You refer to genuine and jcb supplied turkish copy etc. One thing to consider is that a company as big as jcb will dictate to a company how much they are gonna pay for something and its up to the smaller company whether they can supply at that cost, want to supply at that cost or cheapen the item to gain the business. Now those in the rose tinted specs world don't like to believe this but it's how the big business world works. Your turkish copy may well be genuine but built cheaper and possibly don't want to put name on it.

I'm well aware that happens, I also know Lucas and some china firm have both got identical looking copies of the iskra gear reduction units, stupidly Bepco decided to push a few years ago in favour of genuine iskra.

Competition is fine but these are identical looking and often sold under the same iskra/mahle part numbers yet they are a different brand. They could at least change the look of them a bit and not ride on someone else's good name.
