JD 6910 - what is a fair price?

My neighbour quits farming and want to sell me his tidy 6910 year 2000 with 7600 hours
- Frontlift + PTO
- 20/20 Powrquad
- Airbrakes
- TLS
- 3x SCV
- JD Loader 731
- Tires 650 with 40% and 540 with 50%

sadly without Airco...

A/C was an option on the SE's, but that was up only an option upto the 6610. - all 68 & 69's were premiums and came with air con standard for the uk market.

Id run the serial number to be sure of exactly what you're looking at.

If I remember right 68/6910’s weren’t available as an SE and as you say AC would have been standard on a uk spec machine.
They where available as an SE in the 20 series range though.

if phils correct of value i would left him sell if on, these prices are lunacy for such old machines IMO
I sold a 10000h, 40k, non tls, power quad 6910 for over 23k 5 years ago.
If the OP is looking at a tidy 7000h, 50k, power quad tractor with front links/pto and a loader it will be up round £30k.
Have you priced a new tractor recently?

im a pauper so no, however i am aware, although it been discussed this is a phenomenon linked to low supply of new (pushing second hand up), when this settles down its likely to subside slightly

old tractors of some brands in my opinion are well over priced,

thats 10k more (if you assume the value is 32k with loader of the tracotors above) but its 15 years younger with better spec(prob much better actually) and slightly less hours.

for me that would be a much better buy, and theres loads like it admittedly its harder as i was specifically looking for ones with loaders on,

each to their own i guess 🤷‍♂️

You can’t compare a Claas (tractor) to a jd 🤣.

Seriously though 6910’s have a bit of a colt status and are only going up in value! You’d be looking at 100k or more now for a new equivalent to that spec.

Never quite get it with the cult like status these tractors have, granted they are very nice but even in there day they were no better than there rivals (tin hat on)
Agree, however such status does point out they where reliable enough to not have build up a bad name. That's about it though.
I have seen 6910's overhere without aircon, maybe an import then? Also just because it is standard doesn't mean you can't spec it down.

Luckily field install kits are still avaliable.

As said above, 6810 + 6910 was not availeble in SE Version. ."my" 6910, which i am thinking about is 40 km/h and german registration. I know from many hours on 6510 without AC, what is feels like...
