It's an interesting idea about long term thinking, I agree it's a huge problem there isnt any in government and I extend that to every country except china, they can because they dont need to be popular unlike democratic governments.
If a government said look we all need to pay tax at 50% for five years to cover the cost of covid it would be sensible but political suicide m, the media and opposition would have a field day, remember when the tories suggested people would have to contribute to their old age care, it cost them many votes, parties have to be populist to gain power, now imvho that is the fault of every voter and the media not the politicians, voters have created the problem by voting for short term gain

How about any SNP politician that understands what a democracy is and actually applies it to their policies, actions, deeds and words.
What good old NS and her dealings with Salmond, her "memory" was suddenly very poor which was very convenient if she told me it was Monday I would have to check my diary.

That's why it's not worth meeting her. She's not trustworthy.

Mind you Boris might fancy a quicky behind the Cairn - all sweet like.

Is he really so popular or is it the case when people rarely get a chance to vote the alternative is totally crap, I’ve yet to meet someone who believes Bozo is anything other than a prat!
It's a fair point. As a Conservative it upsets me to think the party couldn't have found someone better but I believe his populist nature swun the Northern Labour constituencies which gave the party a large majority however I don't like him as a person or as a leader and I don't like a lot of his policies.
My point entirely.

Which is why I would vote Johnson over and over and over again in the face of current opposition. And why I find your derogatory comments about selling children vile.
I'm sorry I didn't realise you are so sensitive. Just to fill you in I am pretty right wing I don't believe much in state interference in society . I educated my children privately I went away to school as well. I think people should look after themselves and not rely on the state. I dislike Boris Johnson immensely I believe he is a disgrace to the Conservative party and not fit to hold high office. I might vote for party but I most certainly wouldn't vote for him. If you feel a liar and a philanderer is worthy of your vote than it says more about you than a joke about selling children (funny or not ) does about me. This battle of wits is pointless because you are unarmed.

I have yet to meet anyone that hasn't lied. Is there a particular lie you are concerned about ?

Yes Boris is a Philanderer, a lot of people are. Boris just so happens to be in the public eye. Doesn't mean I would treat a philanderer any different to the next person. Doesn't mean I would put my heart on the line for them though either.

In fact I would call him a Phat Philandering Greeny to his face but I would vote for Boris over Corbyn anyday.

I can understand swearing at someone, even hitting someone. But joking about selling children to Arabs is not funny regardless of the subject matter.

The pretense you have wits is amusing but incorrect.

I think that 95% of people are not capable of exclusive relationships and the 5% of us that are get hurt very badly most of the time.

I don’t like people who don’t know the truth most people are brought up to believe that telling lies is wrong when a compulsive liar gets to a top position and people accept it as a foible it’s a big problem and says a lot about society. Likewise personally i believe in marriage but if you are unhappy you can get out and start again carrying on affairs whilst still married is a complete breach of trust and again unneccesary in todays society. So i personally treat liars etc differently and from my own point of view would rather say nothing than something that’s untrue. So if you’re prepared to cheat on your wife and kids cheating a whole bunch of people you don’t know is pretty easy.

Oh yeah ? So you told a lie at the start of this thread castigating millions of people.

Deal with the facts.

You HAVE lied and you did it to hurt others as nastily as possible. You mask it as a joke. But like the nastiness over the past 6+ years during Brexit, it was used as an opportunity by some with certain traits as political license to be nasty.

And yet the very same people Lord their so called ethics as above others QED for all I've said in this thread.

The man in the mirror.

Nope i stated something i believe . On another track you think it’s ok to say that Tony Blair shagged an Asian Lady which surely is an offensive term yet you claim to be totally offended about selling Northern Kids to Arabs which surely is on a similar level.

Let's get this straight.

Tony Blair was reported as a party involved in the Divorce of Wendi Deng. This is called a FACT, ie it really happened that it was reported. Nobody knows the gruesome details but the parties involved.

What you posted at the top of this thread didn't happen. This is called FICTION. A made up statement. In this case designed to hurt a group of people you do not like. (Millions of people)

Yet you say you don't like liars and say my actions is the same as yours.

You do understand what reality is ? I don't know why I am even saying this because it's plainly obvious you don't.

When somebody starts putting things down in capital letters it sort of says something is wrong with their reasoning and arguing skills. I’d say i’m lucky you don’t have my home address otherwise i’d be getting cards made up from letters cut out of newspapers. I actually thought i put forward my arguement clearly and concisely with a bit of humour. Evidently i am a misguided fool.

No it's because I think you are a bit thick.
