I've had nothing from the BFU, I don't agree with some of the decisions. Communication has been woeful. So I will not be renewing. Good luck. Hopefully I will benefit from some of your successes without being a paid up member.
It's woeful as you say but you need to remind yourself the BFU is being run by farmers, such as yourself, with little to no experience of running a union, or communicating professionally etc , and all fitted in around their farming days work. To think it's only been running a touch over a year but it's learning how to do things everyday to improve whilst also fighting on behalf of the ag industry, and all for a minimal initial £10 fee.

I'm sure one day, membership will cost hundreds and it will have many employees to make it a better communicator but small acorns and all that.

If communication is your thing perhaps you could offer to help the BFU team to improve there's.

Just wandering if the BFU do any merchandice ?
Beanie hats, car stickers and big livestock trailer stickers would spread the word and make a bit of profit.
A lot of farmers are not on TFF and some don't use internet let alone social media.
Not that I’m aware of, but it’s a great idea if someone would like to get onboard and make it happen.
