It's woeful as you say but you need to remind yourself the BFU is being run by farmers, such as yourself, with little to no experience of running a union, or communicating professionally etc , and all fitted in around their farming days work. To think it's only been running a touch over a year but it's learning how to do things everyday to improve whilst also fighting on behalf of the ag industry, and all for a minimal initial £10 fee.I've had nothing from the BFU, I don't agree with some of the decisions. Communication has been woeful. So I will not be renewing. Good luck. Hopefully I will benefit from some of your successes without being a paid up member.
I'm sure one day, membership will cost hundreds and it will have many employees to make it a better communicator but small acorns and all that.
If communication is your thing perhaps you could offer to help the BFU team to improve there's.
