Kramp agent/dealers

Is anyone a kramp agent/dealer and open to place an order today and if so can the part be sent direct to us?

I've tried approx 15 dealers in our area listed on the kramp site and all are closed.

Just trying to avoid waiting untill monday to order a part that then won't turn up untill Tuesday or Wednesday.

i doubt it will make any difference, unless the dealer has it in there stock. if it has to be ordered in then order will go through on monday and will be delivered tuesday. couriers don't do collections at the weekend.

It seems mad that I can see what I need but can't order it so it's at least ready for dispatch first thing Monday.

I tried setting up an account where you can order but it all goes through a local dealer but it didn't seem to go anywhere.

Put the order in monday morning, the only difference will be if someone at home that does have access put an order on for the same part before monday as they will take the stock first.

You would need to speak to the dealer you want to use to get an account set up but its not a direct account, all your doing is picking the parts yourself, this works great for the dealer as if there wrong its your fault plus they have minimal work to do just shuffling papers. I dont have a direct kramp account they wont give me one so there's no point me having one invoiced through a dealer as i deal direct with vap, bepco and sparex plus others.

If your that desperate can you not just ring local krone dealer? Surely the price difference isn’t that much too loose sleep over?

I've rung everyone I can think of. Nobody is open/answers

I've stolen the pickup wheels off the baler for a krone tedder before now. Needed either washers or a longer bolt, but didn't take many minutes.

Lots of other things use those wheels.

We have complete genuine krone tedder wheels in stock. I'd happily meet you at our depot but we're in Shropshire.

I think they all must shut at lunch on Saturday or are very very busy and can't answer the phone.

I would have come and got one but I'm stuck in isolation as I'm ill with covid...trying to be helpful whilst the others do the graft.

Farols used to carry Krone tedder wheels.
I find MDT to be very good gateway to Kramp through our buying group, helpful on phone, and good discount % (which is set by your partnered dealer).

Our Kramp account set up through the dealer gives me the option to send it to the dealer or our home address but we are 85 miles away from them which saves a lot of time.

Genuine krone wheels complete with tyres are very cheap for some reason.. I have a couple of new ones kicking about for backup even tho the kit is now Kuhn..!

I have a Kramp account through the dealer as described by Ace and Jim above, it wont help you in this case, I can order right now, (midnight on Sat night) but nothing will happen till Monday when they pick and send so best case is Tuesday if its in stock.

Often Kramp dont carry the item and its sent direct from the manufacturer warehouse.

Theres not a lot of gain to the Kramp account through dealer other than being able to browse the site, order at night, find out the price of things without bugging a storeman and the best bit is delivery direct to door, saves me a 45mile round trip with the diesel and time that involves.

only annoying thing is things turning up in random order if they’re not coming from the same place or ordering ten hack saw blades that turn up in a box suitable for a 3 piece suite

Maybe the same as Claas use and £60 for complete unit for rake or Tedder and includes tyre , rim , bearings and internal spacer. Best price from independent self employed tyre fitter was £110. And even better when dealer keeps massive stocks of everything. No brainier why almost every combine and forager are Claas

Can't you self isolate in the car? Pay by Bacs he chucks it outside dealership gates and walks away and you get out and put it in car

I did think about doing as you suggest.
