Led light bars

Hi all, can anyone recommend which Led light bar to go for??
It’s mainly for spreading slurry in the dark so would ideally just want a long range beam as the led tractor lights do a pretty good job of lighting around you.

any help much appreciated thanks.

Mine came off ebay, no complaints.
LED do a great job of lighting up the surroundings, not so sure about long range. Long enough for slurry spreading I would think unless you are getting lost in the middle of a big field and can't find the hedge.

Mainly long range for seeing obstacles, spread a lot of fields with trees, poles water troughs etc

Another vote for utv products

Got ten of their worklamps dotted around the cab on the loader tractor and around the yard it's like working in daylight. Then for the field there's the wee 160w lightbar that lights up from one end of 20 acres to the other

The other tractor has a single curved 240w bar across the front of the cab. Looking at night for bales to wrap (like when the baler counter said 256, and the wrapper says 255, now where is the bugger that's been missed), it's like using a second world war searchlamp

Unlike the cheaper higher wattage ones in eBay, there's no radio interference from utv products lights, and they seem to focus the light far better.

You get what you pay for though, because they're not cheap

Thanks all for references. Part number UTV243 is perfect starting level for your job at £148 + vat 500mm in length. Wider (990mm) with even more distance and light at £250 + vat. All are high quality in manufacture and clarity and definition of light you get. Thanks Martin

Smallest bar will allow reading of newsprint at 360m distance and that is called having 1 LUX @ 360m. Wider bars can produce 1 LUX up to 500m

Yeah, if you are an eagle or summat. I can only just manage 36cm and that's in full daylight.
