Massey Autosteer problem.

2016 7720 steer ready with an aftermarket Agleader Incommand on RTK.

The tractor is sitting approx 25cmm off the line always to the right. The problem was intermittent. I had this before and the problem was with the tractor rather than the Agleader system. Problem sorted out by dealer at that time. Dealer has calibrated and checked out with laptop. Typical it was working fine when he was out. Problem came back and is now permanent. I seem to remember the problem before was perhaps with a sensor on the axle. I've asked for dealer to come out again but they haven't managed yet.

Screen is all fine. No offsets as accidentally set it anything like that.

Anyone know about this?

Thank you.

It can’t be the tractor. Presumably the measurements inputted related to the tractor dimensions and position of the receiver are wrong.
Perhaps?

The receiver is fine and hasn't moved. The problem was intermittent which would suggest it couldn't be an input unless there is a bug in the screen and an input is changing?

The AB line is there and is 100% in the correct place. The tractor just won't sit on the line.

I'll add that at less then 5km/h the tractor sits on or near the line but as speed increases to 10km/h the tractor moves across.

Does anyone know where the axle/wheel sensor is and how hard/easy it is to get at?

Thanks.
They are at the end of the front axle and connected to the king pin. I've had a replacement on mine, they do fail. IIRC, there is an issue with the wiring on the Masseys too that related to the WAS

I had a look but couldn't see anything. Just a wire going into the axle half way along. Is the sensor inside? Does mudguard have to come off or more?

On the 7618's, anyway, front left wheel, there's a flat plate on the top of the axle with a wire going under it, unless I am very much mistaken, that's the WAS

I drove a 7726s for someone had Trimble system and it was a nightmare the tractor did not like it.
We replaced wheel sensors you name it and it was done .
Take it out put in a new Holland would work perfect, back in the MF
Would just play up
Put a MF System in and it would be fine . With the Trimble system, being cut into the wire loom of the MF it did not like it.

There is one thing that they had to do to my 7726S to make it work with a topcon that worked out of the box on a 6616. The WAS data wasn’t relayed to the roof and it needed a loom adding.

The system has been near faultless for 6 years. Just the odd small issue. I'm sure this is an easy fix. Just need to get at the the axle sensor I think. Will probably start digging in about the back of the hub as mentioned above.

I use to put electric connections apart long side the engine door side ,there’s a little metal cover and and pull the connections apart
then would reboot, for little while , try this it might help

I had exactly this with a 7620. Chris from Topcon said it’s most likely the WAS but it’s alright at the moment. Can you get the values up on the screen so you can see what’s going on while you’re driving?

Yeah. As I said above except for a couple of little problems this MF and Agleader system has been as good as perfect for 6 years. Tattys, plooin' in the hole, everything. Credit to Philips at Forfar for setting it up.
