The premier sent out a notice that all civil servants who are not vaccinated will have to wear a mask at all times at work, be tested 3 times a week with a quick test and once a month with a proper test. Vaccinated people are exempt. New hires will have 45 days to get vaccinated or be dismissed. Crock of shite!
Vaccinated people are still able to catch it, so therefore still able to give it.

At least you got a handful of cases. Kids went back to school in the south island on Thursday after 3 weeks at home because of Zero, nothing, no cases of Covid down here.
Lots of things cancelled, that have already been paid for and heaps of restrictions on businesses. Masks everywhere and you have to sign in everywhere according to Jacinda and her merry shower of idiots.
There's a handful of folk 'up north' in hospital with it and they are claiming hospitals in Auckland are stretched. FFS they've had 18 fecking months to prepare and done feck all.
She just thinks if she makes everyone a prisoner it will just go away.

Guy who drives for a local contractor has left his job as he is due to work in NZ,had a leaving party this week and may have flown yesterday.

There must be one or two foreign workers still flying into NZ?

That will end badly. Forcing someone to do something will just make them dig their heels in even more,
There are reports that some of those that were dead against the vaccination are starting to change their minds and I think in time many will get the jab, but you start ordering and threatening people it becomes about more than just a vaccine.

For the record I think everyone should get vaccinated, I just don't think they should be forced to.
