i know - the idea terrifies me and i know 2 people who had big problems

but glasses (or often lack of them) is becoming seriously annoying now, my spelling is bad enough even with them on !

I wouldn't say negative, caution as only have one pair of eyes, and I haven't seen anyone with false eyes. Once you're blind you're blind.

Have worn glasses permanently for the last 60 + years and now can't bear the wind on my uncovered eyes so if I had laser tratment I would probably need to wear clear lenses as well.......!!

Friend's sister had it done, now she can read small print without glasses, but still needs them for distance and driving.

Brother in law had it done a few years ago, his eye sight is now deteriorating again so will soon need glasses again or it repeated, I dont care about blood,needles or jabs but leave my eyes alone, had a rust ring in one a couple of years ago that needed removing, head clamped in a vice like thing, that was bad enough.
Wear vari focials so would need glasses anyway

Get Mrs B to get you some from Amazon. I get a job lot of cheap reading glasses every now and then when too many of the last lot get lost or broken.
