We used to pull a 4furrow plough and a 3m power harrow easy enough on the back. Are you talking about on the linkage or on the loaderAnybody know if a mf 390t would handle a bale handler or double spike with two silage bales with ease. Mchale silage bales so some weight in them
Yes on the linkage. Iv heard the 300 series never had the strongest linkageWe used to pull a 4furrow plough and a 3m power harrow easy enough on the back. Are you talking about on the linkage or on the loader
Crikey, it is a tractor isn't it? If a 95hp tractor can't lift a couple of bales on the back without falling to pieces, it's got no place on a farm.Although it would stress the linkage..
Not by today’s standards or the 3000 range of the time for that matter but it will lift 2 bales I’m sureYes on the linkage. Iv heard the 300 series never had the strongest linkage
Yup our 398 can handle 2 alright, but really knows they are there, and could do with a bit more weight than just the front loader on the front for any sort of climbing. Would not like to be trashing it around rough tracks all day long either as am pretty sure things would get stressed. Tractor has hook end lift arms and 2 assistor rams. Bales from a new welger balerIt's a 95hp tractor with little more than a 165 back end. It'll lift 2 bales ok but for how long...over rough land? A 398 would be a different matter...
God I’m quiet surprised that a 399 can’t lift 2 bales being a 100hp tractor. You need to slacken the density gauge on the BalerOur 399 can't lift 2 bakes from our 5500 mchale.ts115 with loader is light until u get one on the stacker. New pump and 2 assister rams and he hydraulics all set. Can just lift a 4f reversible plough but not 2 bales
