Profitability of sucklers can only be based on the point of weaning...

That's an interesting one.
When I've quoted figures in past I've been told I'm attributing finishing profit to the sucklers, but then everyone says there's no money in finishing them.
I reckon you work a system that fits for you.

Not if 2 poor calves are worth the same amount as one good one- especially the extra effort of double suckling
