I’m thinking of going from sp to trailed, what are they like on steep banks m? Can they topple over?

Have a Hardi Commander 3200 here, and some side slopes. It feels safe enough with the rear axle steering. The older JD trailed machines had a bit of a rep for lying down, don't know why particularly, but they looked quite tall.
I suppose an idiotic operator could roll anything.

Some of the JD trailed look very tall and narrow, fine for their big market in American Prairies but not ideal on a Welsh hillside

Doubt there is any jd trailed machines in the American prairies. They only started selling them in Australia about 3 years ago

Weren't the original JD trailed machines badge engineered Degelman/Dammann or similar?
Could show you 2 Amazone big tandem axle trailed machines on a Canadian prairie farm; but the man is German

JD took over the Dutch sprayer manufacturer “Douven” sometime in the 1990’s.
