With controversy over flooding , ea debacle, red tractor debacle , British sugar, Nfu debacle most other workers would call a national strike . How long before there's a march on London and holding government protest about the complete mismanagement of matters

OH teaches. When they go on strike they say what they want, generally an x% pay rise.

What do you want ? Specifically.
Action on all fronts not just words of tea and sympathy to find 12 months down the road nothing has been done about anything. There is a total disregard in this country of maintenance of anything and an appetite to consume everything without thought

Just so I can give my brother a heads up, does a strike mean he doesn't have to go to work on the farm that day and will his boss have to give the days shooting up to go on strike? ;)

Only joking.
The car workers union in the US has just finished successful strike action, I believe they have got what they wanted. They knew exactly what they wanted and who they wanted it from.
As Delilah said, what do you want and who do you want it from?
That's how it works I'm afraid.

I'll leave it that a comment regarding nfu vs red tractor or british sugar or the ea for that matter if they don't stand up and listen to there audience nfu are finished, this is there D-Day and it could be there finest hour. Success would bring more to the fold the opposite will lead to desertion.

The other thing that occurs to me is when a group go on strike what they make in salary or benefits etc is usually disclosed/leaked along with their demands.
Do you want to put out there what you make (before it's doctored for the taxman) and what benefits you currently get?

Here's the crazy thing UK farmers have a power that no other type of workers have, all it takes is for the NFU to instruct all UK farmers to refuse to take sewage onto their farms & within days the countries sewage system grinds to a halt, no need for protests, no need to upset the general public, just a simple instruction from the NFU & the government would come running.
