Have run jd for years but with the price they are now thinking of a change. Anyone run a t7 270 ? What hp are they without boost and when is boost available? And how much do they weigh? Thanks

One our 2nd one, 240hp and boost to 270. Weighs just over 9t. It does pull well and simple to operate. Needs a new cab.

As above around 220 derate and 240 boost. Boost avaliable on road, pto and hyd. T4B or stageV you are looking at? These tractors take a tune very well and will run 270 odd derate and 290 odd on boost

Only time I would say boost is missing is heavy draft work. So if pulling something like a sumo trio or a trailed drill you would miss it.

I wouldn't echo the sentiments of the above about taking a tune well. A friend has one turned up and it fried transmission.

I would buy a 290 or 315 HD if you want boost all the time.

I drive a t7 260. It has a easy life here. But been trouble free so far. Only done 3k hours though. It has auto command transmission. I love it. Hate driving power shift tractors now.

will be used most for ploughing and pulling vad drill so boost won’t really be any use. Thanks
