NH or JD combine

NH next question. We went from a 2056 to a TX 64 and while the JD was a good reliable combine pretty much everything is better about the NH.

NH would be my first choice,but they are getting hard to find and holding their value well. If I can't find a NH to suit then I would try a JD if I can find one of them.

Both are about the same distance from me and both don't really want to be bothered with you unless you are buying new gear off them every year.
I use APH if at all possible.

Not sure. Can't see many differences between 20-22 when i've looked. My 2054 was very good.

rubbish. There is more rust on the Claas that we run now at 7 years old than there was on the JD when it left here at 14 years old.

Bought a 2264 from a neighbour as needed more output. Probably should have gone bigger and newer but was easy and known history and will be a big step up from 2054 anyway

Parts are easier to get hold of with the NH. Most bearings are off the shelf for everything else the is APH or someone similar. With the jd alot of stuff will be main dealer with main dealer prices.
