As above, full powershift box, hit or miss?
I would appreciate any observations from users, biggest job would be 5 furrow reversible or 3m combination.
Obviously I am aware there are green or red tractors available as alternatives.
Thank you.

I have a Puma 155 which is basically the red version of the T6080.

Handles 5 furrows no bother. Has over 6000hrs on the clock and drives spot on. And is a match for our TM155 which pulls 3m combi drill no bother.

So would say-a T6080 would do both jobs well.

We only have range command though so can’t comment on power command.

We had 2 a 2008 and 2009 both low bonnet and kept them both to about 6000hrs. 2009 was a brilliant tractor and a neighbour still has it. Both ploughed with Lemken europal8 5 furrow auto resets, and drilled with a 3m Lemken. They were comfortable on the drill but you had to be canny with the ploughs. Put a set of brakes in the 08 one at 1800hrs only set of brakes we have ever put in a tractor. New brakes were a different part no. and lasted out the rest of its time with us. The 08 was also horrible/scary on the road. New holland blamed the sway from the cab suspension as it sits at an angle. Tried changing orbital units, ram seals and anything else you could think off but never improved. The other one was fine. Steering lock isn’t as good as the TM’s but not bad. In general good tractor and well capable of what you’d like to do.

Thanks for those comments.
I am slightly confused as to whether 6080 will be a true 140/150hp, or 150hp plus boost on this model, which would effectively make it much bigger (and thirstier?) than I need?

Should be 155hp plus boost to 178hp at the pto.

fuel use compared won’t be noticeably worse than a model lower (6070) as the “80” will be more boss of the job

In the nicest possible way, isn't that two bits of conflicting information?..
Are these engines reckoned to be economical when compared to other brands of similar output?

We've an 11 plate 6080 Power Command.
It's had a problem with the propshaft which is a common fault, as is the exhaust manifold gasket.
It's got a re-mapped ECU but I'd never say it was overpowered with a 12t trailer behind it. It ploughs with a 5f Lemken and plough press on stiff ground ok, and pulls a 4m Horsch Sprinter adequately in most conditions, dropping a gear or two going uphill.
The PC box is pretty good and very user friendly, albeit with a clunk between 12-13.
Brake discs need to be looked after, preferably using air brakes if possible. The hydraulic brake line only comes on with a firm kick, feathering the pedal does not activate the trailer brake! - I've seen 6 of them in a row at the dealership with the trumpets off; check the colour of the hydraulic oil in the sight glass, if its black walk away.
Good tractor though, nice to drive.

Thankyou all. Just had a bit of education from a man that runs a few tractors for a living.
These tractors are every bit as big as the Deere 6920/30 that I had determined was too big, and not very much cheaper with low hours on.
Back to the drawing board for some more thinking I reckon.

Thing is the lower powered 6 cylinder tractors in the range are the same physical size. You are as well giving a more capable larger horse power tractor an easy life rather than struggling for power and stressing a lower horse power less capable machine. You might be surprised in how little fuel the larger horsepower machine will use.

Yes I agree, give a bigger one an easy life, rather than flog an underpowered one.
I remain open minded as to what brand, but just err towards green.
I am aware of this 6080 with low hours, off farm, that is all. Hadn't previously considered blue.
