Nufol vs Multi N - ear protein spray

Normally apply solid AN in May and get good protein levels. For obvious reasons I haven't been able to apply this year. The premiums are good ATM and I would like to push my wheat for milling.
Yield potential looks 8t/ha. Wheat following beans has had 160kg/ha N so far, and following OSR 200kg/ha. (75ha total)
Before anyone suggests, I'm not prepared or kitted out to mix my own or do any dissolving.
Nufol requires storing, I have a 10000 L tank that I use to fill the sprayer. If I drain this, can I store it in it ok?
Multi N goes on at 33 - 40L/ha, which makes it very attractive, as I would just need 3 IBC's.

Are there any benefits/down sides of one over the other?

How much is the Multi N? Is it claimed to be lower scorch risk.
Usually the 20N urea solution is competitive. You will be able to store it ok in your tank short term.

Have to say tried both side by side a few years ago in different plots and found the Nufol to consistently give higher protein levels in our skyfall. It's messy , bulky to store and not as convenient to use but it does seem to work. I'm sure they'd have some suggestions to help you with storage as mentioned above.

if you put the nufol into your water tank it will strip any grime off the inside and block the filters/nozzles on your sprayer, been there got the t-shirt, if you need to use that tank power wash it out first

Just ask your supplier to drop a tank in your yard for a few days while you use Nufol. This is assuming you are expecting normal yields, a lower than normal yield along with a reasonable N level would give good protein levels.

Had someone message me about this, so thought I'd put my results up.
As you can see, they are a bit inconclusive. All the results are from Gallant first wheats, drilled at much the same time in similar conditions. I usually get proteins of around 12.5-13% using solid Nitram at the flag leaf timing. The yield was low, so I thought I'd get high proteins. Will be using solid Nitram this year, unless a drought sets in again...

Market Street Multi N - 13.1%
Hobbs Croft Nufol - 12.8%
Coxs Nufol - 11.6%
Stubbs Nufol - 12.2%
Stubbs Multi N - 11.4%

Nufol average - 12.2%
Multi N average - 12.25%

All samples were taken off the combine.
I wish I'd left a control area unsprayed.

Yes it did. I did a few passes up the field, then back to yard to clean every nozzle filter, emptied tank, then back to clean every filter again. It was a long night. Every spray line was spotless after...

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
