Soil samples
Got most of the farm sampled recently, pH, indicies and Organic matter. Makes quite interesting reading, P and K indicies are generally 3-4, couple of low K values, around 2, in fields cut twice last year which is expected. Most interesting though is the soil OM. Sheep in the wet
What do people do with there sheep if housing is not an option ? Lots of fields I’ve seen with sheep in are looking really messed up it must be a nightmare in this weather . If winters keep on getting wetter will people give up keeping them ?- Jasper

No till second wheat

This guy is apparently one of the best climbers in the country, based around Fort William I think, planning on eating McDonald’s burger patties exclusively for a month.
