Just attended NRoSO saying spraying/spreading equipment mounted on seed drill will require operator to hold PA certificate for special equipment even if one already holds PA4G/PA4S comments please
Yes I understand but PA4G test taken with Avadex applicator mounted on Cayena seed drill 6 years agoIt's not a new requirement from what I saw just pointing out the fact that many who use applicators on potato planters, as an example, don't actually have the right qualifications. PA4G/S covers standalone applicators or spreaders not mounted on other machinery such as a planter.
Mmmmm yes and no. PA 4s will cover you for a slug Pelleter mounted on a quad and PA 4g will cover you for an Avadex spreader mounted on a drill. They were describing a PA SC which is required as you say when putting monceren on a potato planter; or spraying amistar in furrow on a planter. Nemathorin on a planter however would be pa4g.It's not a new requirement from what I saw just pointing out the fact that many who use applicators on potato planters, as an example, don't actually have the right qualifications. PA4G/S covers standalone applicators or spreaders not mounted on other machinery such as a planter.
They're desperately trying to invent more tickets to make life harder.Just attended NRoSO saying spraying/spreading equipment mounted on seed drill will require operator to hold PA certificate for special equipment even if one already holds PA4G/PA4S comments please
Yep , there's allways a parasite in this job trying to chip away at you from one angle or another , wish they would all just fük off and do something useful with their time instead of spending all day dreaming up sh!t to feed off usThey're desperately trying to invent more tickets to make life harder.
They're no better than red tractor IMO
They wouldn’t. It’s no different to booking any other PA certificate. If @Ebenezer Spud you don’t have a local training group; approach your local proficiency tests council who will have the necessary assessors on their books and will point you in the direction of relevant training if required. When I contacted NRoSO they told me that they didn’t have any named assessors
